About this museum and its collection

A ride on a narrow gage train provides an introduction to the museum collection. The museum has over seventy different diesel locomotives (1930-1960) from different branches of industry, narrow gage locomotives and other narrow gage material such as dumper carts and carriages. The ride follows the origin route and passes the country’s sole surviving peat-dust factory.
