About this museum and its collection

The museum presents a history of the Battle of Arnhem (1944). Its collection includes objects, uniforms, weapons, films and photos. It also features personal stories of British, German and Polish soldiers as well as Dutch civilians. The museum is housed in Villa Hartenstein which served as British military headquarters during the battle.
